Shoeday Saturday...

It happened.

I joined the sneaker craze. Last winter I wore out my favorite pair of Vince calf hair slip-on sneakers before the winter weather ended.

A sad day...

Condé Nast announced today that they are shuttering Details Magazine.

Many years ago, I worked as a stylists assistant at Details.

Among the notable moments of my years spent at the magazine -

traveling to Los Angeles to shoot Hugh Heffner's then girlfriends, and reality TV stars (?) Holly, Bridget and Kendra at the Playboy Mansion; two cover shoots with Tom Brady; and going to London to shoot Clive Owen. One of my favorite memories, the Bradley Cooper cover shoot in Philadelphia. The academy award nominee was dropped off by his parents and brought his dog along with him. I never took pictures while on set, I never thought it was very professional. I was there to do a job, not be a fan girl. But BC was the exception. At the end of the shoot some students from the high school, where we were filming, came over to meet the actor, and I snuck a pic.
