In the window of The Row in NYC, all of these mini envelope cases are hanging crossbody on a mannequin. Simply adorable. Large enough to hold a credit card, and little else, but what else do you really need?
Watching Haute- Couture, reminded me of past Chanel shows. The elaborate sets, the gorgeous clothes, the pieces that are on perennial wishlists. One of my all time favorites is the Spring 2019 sur la plage show. The brand built a beach inside the Grand Palais! Models carried their shoes and walked along the 'C-side'. A logo-heavy collection filled with a more is more mentality, Karl Lagerfeld noted on the longevity of a Chanel piece - girls 'borrowing' pieces from their mothers and grandmothers.

The only show I am actually excited to watch during any fashion week is Chanel. For Haute-Couture, Virginie Viard, showed her best collection yet. The tweeds, the bows, the feathers, the sparkle, all of it. It is unapologetically beautiful, classic, whimsical - Chanel. Watch the full show here, I recommend wearing your favorite cap toe ballet flats and clutching a quilted bag while doing so.
