"Wear what you love"...

The much anticipated First Lady of Style bible from Kate Betts has made its debut.  Everyday Icon: Michelle Obama and the Power of Style chronicles the impact of style as a form of communication.  

The lovely Ms. Betts recently spoke about the book at the 92nd Street Y, Tribeca.  She spoke about style and sustenance.  While Obama is definitely interested in fashion, she does not speak on it, rather she speaks through it.  A pioneer for emerging American designers and an inspiration for women.  Mrs. Obama wears what she loves and it shows.  Through her clothing she possesses confidence and optimism, the epitome of American style.
