 better late than never. 

New Year...

 I don't believe in resolutions.  I think it is a set up for failure, and no one needs that.  

Rather I believe in things I'd like to continue to do in the coming year.

1. I discovered in the later half of 2025, I really enjoy reading.  There is a sense of accomplishment after finishing a book that few other things in life deliver.  

2. I love make-up.  I feel too old to suddenly be attracted to this genre, but I am.  Sephora and Ulta Beauty have become Mecca's of enjoyment.  I even have my eye on this new eyeshadow (no pun intended).  

3. It is so nice being back on the tennis court.  I forgot how much I enjoy hitting that tiny yellow ball across the net.  

4. Making something with my hands.  I like to cook and bake, but I want to do something creative.  Learning to needlepoint is high on the list.  I am also convinced that I can recreate these note cards.  

5. Looking forward to things.  Right now it's Valentines Day.  I shock myself at this, but the heart shaped items, the pink, the all around giddiness - I can't wait.   This year I have my heart set on a heart shaped pizza.
