Sweater weather...

This 3.1 Phillip Lim sweater was the one that got a away last season.  

The classic cable style updated with an asymmetric side zipper, would  be perfect at the office and at the weekend tailgate.    

Thankfully Phil listened to my pleading and brought this back for Fall.

British Vogue's Fashion Features Director, Sarah Harris has truly stood out, in the sea of peacocks, this show season.  Her minimalist ensembles coupled with her signature silver mane   is refreshing and inspiring.  I can't wait to see what she brings to Paris!

Fall Wish List... Leather Jacket

This Isabel Marant Étoile leather jacket has been on my wish list for a few seasons now.  

At first I held off thinking that my liking was trend based, an expensive trend at that!

Each season the shape changes slightly, but it has come to be a quintessential Isabel Marant piece - returning season after season.  This fall it also comes in navy, which is a nice break from the staple black. 

While searching for similar leather jackets, at more wallet friendly prices, I came across this from the Gap!  Touting itself as 100% leather and at $328, it may just fill my leather jacket need.

Stand out in the crowd...

It is fashion week in New York City.  All over town women, and men, are strutting around in carefully curated ensembles and the 'it' items of the coming season.

  The below brunette caught my eye because of the ease and simplicity of her outfit.  A modern stripe shirt casually tucked into her dark wash jeans with her black Céline box bag tucked under her arm.  Her hair looks pulled back as a way to beat the heat as opposed to the result of an early DryBar appointment.  It is refreshing to see a woman looking 'normal' in street style photos.

There is something about fall that begs for a new pair of jeans.
