Jenna in Brooklyn...

As mentioned yesterday, Jenna Lyons had one of the most pinned interiors on Pinterest. 

She made cow-hide rugs desirable, and brought the J.Crew "pop of color" mantra into her own living room.   I see similarities between this home, and her current - especially in the master bath.  In her home in Brooklyn, the master bath was open to the master bed, and the same rings true now (only now there is a glass panel wall separating the two).  The kitchens are clearly thought about in both spaces, but they are not overdone.  You can tell that she is not a cook. The closets, on the other hand are, in one word, remarkable.  Here you can tell she is the master of her domaine.

Jenna's Soho Loft...

Jenna Lyons has always attracted a cult following.

Her brownstone in Brooklyn was one of the most pinned interiors on Pinterest.

Her new Soho loft, will surely break records as well.  TMagazine profiled the space in December, and the design world went aflutter.  

From the hidden television (hint, it slide out from behind the mirror above the mantle), to the brass backsplash in the kitchen, to the closet, oh the closet!  The space feels familiar, playful.  Pink velvet couches take up most of the living room, anchored by a massive kitchen island with three inch thick honed marble.

Spring has sprung...

It is officially the first day of Spring.

Though, NYC is expecting another snowstorm tomorrow!

Knot dreams...

I recently spied an imitation knot bag, and it reminded me how much I love these tiny Bottega Veneta woven wonders.   The perfect size (though not sure it fits my new iPhone 8 plus) and goes with everything, always!

Adding to my classics wishlist - which also includes these beauties and these!

The temperatures in NYC aren't quite cooperating, but the first day of Spring is on Tuesday.

I saw these Alexander Wang espadrilles in Spain, and loved!

Am going to need to try these on ASAP!

Florida Sun...

I am in Palm Beach for the week, and one of my first stops has to be the new Royal Poinciana Plaza.   A once dilapidated area, has had a complete facelift, now home to Saint Ambroeus, Kirna Zabete, St. Frank and Coyo Taco (!!).  

I have a feeling that I will be spending a lot of time here.

Pretty tables...

I love to set a table.

The flowers, the linens, using glasses and plates that you rarely use, it is just fun.

My New Year's resolution this year was to eat at my kitchen table with proper placemats and linen napkins on the regular, not just for special occasions.   I would say I am 50/50 in execution so far.  These photos of pretty tables (plus these cuties that I just spied at ABC Home) may just be the inspiration I need to keep going!

I am just back from my first visit to Africa.
