Spring spruce...

Spring is on the horizon, finally!
There is something about it staying brighter longer, and warmer temps, that make me want to spring-ify my apartment - bringing out the linen duvet cover, decluttering the winter build-up, and adding some fresh flowers.
Mark D. Sikes' Hollywood Hills kitchen is the ultimate for me.  The all white space with blue accents (how clever that he painted the ceiling pale blue!) is simply gorgeous, and well edited.  The counters look like someone lives there, but not overly cluttered, he shows off his Astier de Villatte collection, and of course, his collection of blue and white china.
What is on my brain for Spring, a new runner in the kitchen.
One Kings Lane has some great striped options - here and here.

Last day of vacation...

It is always sad when a week of vacation comes to an end.
More sun, more swim, more tennis!

Traveling light...

I just booked my summer travel!
Now to pack.  The last thing I want to do is pay to check a bag, and then lug it all over Europe.  My goal is to pack a chic carry-on. It sounds a bit daunting at the moment, packing over a weeks worth of essentials into a carry-on, but I am going to try!  I have my eye on this bag from Paravel.  I may need a few practice runs!

Lacquer love...

If there was one thing I would change in my apartment, I would paint the walls in high gloss/lacquer.
I did this in my bathroom, and love it!
