Gahhh...

While walking home tonight, I saw a woman wearing the chicest leopard print raincoat.  Typically, not my thing, this coat read as the perfect rainy weather topper - subtle matte animal print making the piece feel more of a neutral as opposed to a bold pattern.
A quick google search lead me to find that the chic piece is last season Ganni, and now I cannot find it anywhere!! UGH.
This season there is a tiger print version, but jury is out.  The leopard is adorable!

On the hunt for!
A size small is available at The Outnet

This seasons print.

UPDATE: I found the leopard print version, and LOVE IT!

Nap time...

I am a huge fan of Hill House Home
Their clever embroidered shams and whimsical take on formal bedding is refreshing and infectious.  I love following their instagram, and eagerly await new launches.
I just ordered one of their Nap dresses (i.e. nightgown) and I cannot rave about it enough.  The lightweight swiss dot fabric is almost too pretty to wear to bed.

Nostalgia...

My all time favorite Vogue franchise was APT with LSD.   Lauren Santo Domingo, and photographer Claiborne Swanson Frank,  would venture into the homes of society and fashion darlings for Vogue.com.  Every time a new home hit the site, my friends and I would rejoice.  Amanda Brooks' upstate cabin, Aerin Lauder's Hamptons hamlet, tables even turned on LSD's loft.  The images are timeless, and remain constant source of inspiration.

Here is a link to more in the series.  My favorites are the earlier ones where CSF is the photographer, I love her photographs.

Current obsessions...

Home edition.
With the Fall rainy days and colder weather, I have been spending more time at home.  With that, always comes design ideas - rearranging furniture, organizing cabinets, dreaming about painting and upholstery.
At the moment I cannot get enough of matching headboards and walls.
At first, it can come across as a lot - a lot of one fabric.  But, adding neutral bedding and accents, the prints truly pop, creating the ultimate WOW!

Getting cold weather ready...

Soon, it will be fireplace season.
Cold days wind down with hot toddy's by the fire.
I absolutely adore Nicky Hilton Rothschild's fireplace bench - pure genius.
The Benison fabric covered bench is not only a gorgeous focal point in the room, but adds extra seating to the room.
Keeping this in mind for the future.

One of my favorite NYC apartments...

One of my favorite New York City apartments has come on the market.  The gorgeous Gramercy Park two-bedroom belongs to interior designer, Cece Barfield Thompson and her family.   The home was featured on One Kings Lane a few years back and the images stayed with me.  The space feels airy and bright, perfectly accessorized without feeling cluttered.
