Get Organized...

Maybe it is because I binged the new Home Edit show on Netflix, I have been on a cleaning and organizing frenzy lately!  I arranged my bookshelf by color, rearranged shelves in my living room buffet, and am currently trying to find a new way to store my jeans.   My kitchen is next, and this photo is gorgeous.  On the to-do list, find fresh flowers for the kitchen.

Just what we needed...

Nancy Meyer's has revived the Banks family, for some much needed 2020 entertainment.  The short (it is 25 minutes long) reunites her iconic characters for a Zoom wedding.  The plot is so-so, but somehow Meyers, as always, has us squinting  for deeper looks at the interior backgrounds.

Happy viewing!

Judd...

Admittedly, I have barely left my Upper East Side bubble lately.  I walk around Central Park, I get take out from local restaurants, I spend a lot of time in my apartment.

The Donald Judd exhibition at MoMA lured me to Midtown, and I am so happy it did!  The museum has taken every precaution, temperature checks, timed ticket entry, drastically reduced number of visitors.  The floors are clearly marked with flow of traffic arrows and reminders to stand six feet apart.  I felt completely comfortable throughout my visit.  What made me even happier, Donald Judd's work!  Large in scale, colorful, tactile.  Bravo MoMA for putting on a gorgeous exhibition.

Fall ahead...

There is something about September.  Freshly sharpened pencils, back to school, back to a routine.  Even though this is not like most Septembers, one can still hope.  Colder temperatures mean your favorite sweaters are coming out of hibernation and dare I say, a coat!

Last Winter, I had my eye on the Toteme long quilted jacket, and still do.  But, their shorter version might be more useful - coffee runs, early morning tennis clinics, trips to the Farmer's Market...

Labor Day...

I can't believe it is already Labor Day Weekend.  Where did Summer go?  Fingers crossed for a warm September.  In past years I would be scouring sales for Fashion Week sale finds, but this year, I am prepping my apartment for continued time spent here.

There are a ton of great table linens sales happening.  I have my sights set on a few from Amanda Lindroth and  India Armory.

After spending so much time in my apartment this spring, there are a few pieces of furniture I would like to add to my living room.   The matching ottoman to this chair, Serena and Lily is one of my favorites, everything feels so inviting,  this coffee table will be mine one day! I am thinking about adding some pieces to my walls, a whimsical print, and there are a few images here that speak to me.

Anything Aerin Lauder touches is magic to me. Her lightning collection is one of my favorites - modern, classic, and works in any room.  Everything is 20% off here thru the weekend.

Anyone have suggestions for side tables? Or a pretty 8x10 frame that I can hang on the wall?

Table refresh...

There are few things I love more than a pretty table.
Pulling out your favorite serving pieces, the fancy silver, and cheery linens.  Amanda Lindroth is having a sale on her linens, and I would scoop them up while you can.
I've had my eye on these napkins and this table cloth for some time now, might be the refresh my table needs.
