Wishful thinking...

 I am very ready for Summer.   Sunshine, sand, exposed limbs, rosé, I am ready for all of it!  Nothing says Summer ready more than a new swimsuit.  

Eres is the chicest.  This suit will forever be on my wishlist.

New to me designer Maygel Coronel has the prettiest ruffled suits.  Perfect to go from poolside to cocktail hour.

My favorite style from J.Crew is back this season.  The self-tie bow makes for such a lovely detail. 

A classic black maillot is always in fashion. Bonus when it is wallet friendly. 

Pajama Party...

 My pajamas are getting a lot of wear lately.  I can't say enough great things about the Hill House Home nap dresses.  The 'Caroline' style is my go-to.

If in need of a refresh, there are many sales happening now.  Everyone raves about Lake Pajamas, saying they are the softest sets around.   Sleeper dresses are meant to be worn inside and out.  I love the simple bouquet print on this dress.  Emilia Wickstead's line of sleepwear is almost to pretty to sleep in.

Duet...

 

Dryness has hit new levels.  The constant washing, sanitizing, has made my hands so dry, my skin is cracking.  My right hand, in particular, is constantly with a bandage.  

This duet from Aesop to the rescue!  It lives up to its name, their resurrection formula not only smells divine, but it brings your skin back to life.  You can feel the healing powers from the moment it hits your skin.  I bought a small tube for my purse, but think I need the large bottle for around the house.

Awards Season...

 

Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Awards! One of my favorite seasons.  The gorgeous gowns, rare jewels, tuxedos, it is something to look forward to in the middle of Winter.   This year, there will sadly not be a red carpet, and no running to the theater to see as many films as I can,  but this weeks Golden Globe nominations are good suggestions for what to watch.

Hollyhock...

 As I am sure you know by now, I love a pretty interior. A room filled with texture, lighting, upholstery, and items adoring the walls.  The latter, I have struggled with in my own home.  Putting a permanent hole in the wall is very daunting to me.  In ten years, I've hung a Grey Malin and two mirrors.  This all has changed in the past year.  A John Derian gallery wall now lives in my entry, my prized Donald Robertsons' hang in my living room, and a Slim Aarons 'Kaufmann House' above the bar area.  Never did I think I would be running out of wall space.  

One room that has bare walls, the bedroom.  I've always tried to maintain a space of clean and calm.  Soft colors, subtle prints, no clutter.  I have not even put the mirror on the wall here, because I cannot quite commit to that yet.  My beliefs on no art in the bedroom may be changing thanks to Christian Brechneff.  First spied in Cece Barfield's Gramercy apartment (she is the chicest), the flower pieces are simple, but pack a punch.  The pieces are soothing, perfect for a bedroom environment, but truly, would work in any room in the home.
