Cooling temps...

The white linen dresses have been put away, sadly, and the coats and chunky knits have been pulled out of Summer storage.  I've already added these pants and this cardigan to my Fall rotation.  Other additions I have my eye on: My favorite everyday coat is on it's last legs, and I cannot believe I am saying this, but an everyday sneaker for walks downtown are at the top of my list.

Stripe tee from Kule
A new Kule store just opened in Rockefeller Center!

Sneakers from Khaite
I've noticed this shoe a lot out-and-about on the Upper East Side.

Skirt from Monse
It is NY themed with renderings of soft pretzels, taxi cabs, and Lady Liberty!

Camel scarf from Tôteme
I love anything double-faced wool.

Dome ring from The Goldbug Collection
So pretty, and such a steal.

Mixed media coat from Sacai
I've had my eye on this coat since it was 90 degrees in July.

Rise & Shine...

In the Wall Street Journal, there is an article about how Television shows impact how we eat, dress, travel and live.  With inspiration at an all time low at the moment, I couldn't agree more.  Bridgerton had me yearning for florals everywhere; I was drinking tea while watching The Crown; and planning outfits courtesy of The Morning Show.  In season one, Alex Levy, played by Jennifer Aniston, was clad in monochrome textured sportswear throughout, you could practically feel the cashmere thru the screen.  I'm excited for double faced wool coats, crewneck cashmere sweaters, and wide-leg trousers.  Let season two / the Fall season begin!

Season one was filled with gorgeous crewnecks, fingers crossed for season two.
Sweater from The Row

Last season, Alex carried Valextra bags, exclusively.  In the promo for season two the Celine 'Besace' makes a cameo.

New York is a character in the show, and a true New Yorker knows the impact of a good coat.
Single breasted camel coat from Raey

I appreciate the commuter shoe makes an appearance in the show.

A nude lip lets the cashmere shine.

Being this is an Apple TV+ production, there are iPhones and iMacs aplenty.

Fall ahead...

It is no secret that I wish for year-round Summer all of the time. But, the inevitable always happens,  the days get shorter and the temps get cooler.  Fall is coming for us.

A few things I have my eye on for the season ahead.

Totême stripe tuttleneck sweater,  I constantly vow to never buy another sweater, and guess what, I always do!

Chanel velvet ballet flats! Yes, please!

Tory Burch denim sailor pants,  fun fact about me - I love a sailor style pant.

Alighieri 'leo' ring.  A statement piece for sure.

Ganni quilted jacket, with collar.  I missed out on this coat last season, need to act on this soon!

New York Knot...

Tiffany & Co.'s latest debut, the Knot.

Inspired by New York City, the collection is delicate but tough, and always in style.

Refresh...

The LL Bean boat & totes are the most used bags I own.  Each aging well - getting softer and more frayed with each use.  They work in every season, for every situation.  Their latest tonal iteration has been on my mind since I first spied it on the shoulder of a woman on Park Avenue.   All it needs is a navy EJT.

Fabric dreams...

Anyone dream of upholstery? No, just me?  That's ok.

My latest obsession, a console table with show-stopping trim!

This cover, made of sunbrella fabric and fringe, from Miles Redd is the bees-knees in my book!
