I am so grateful that I got to experience the Barefoot Contessa in person. I remember the chocolate cupcakes for my birthday from there, and the gorgeous french baguettes in baskets, it was gorgeously charming.
Her cookbooks remain my go-to's, many pages stained and dog-eared, her Lemon Pound Cake is simply perfect.
