Basket case...

Confession: I cannot get enough of basket bags. 

I use one everyday - a mini during the week, a larger tote for beach weekends.

I am dreading the day this Fall when I have to put them away for the season. 

Until that day, I just added this cutie to the collection.

Beach birthday...

I celebrated my birthday this week.

On the beach,

with pizza,

and sunshine,

with all of my favorite people.

It's been a pretty great week!

At Hill House Home...

I've been catching glimpses of Nell Diamond's West Village Townhouse in instagram, and longed for more.  The Hill House Home founder, and her husband endured a multi-year gut renovation on their home.  In this month's Architectural Digest, Nell takes us inside the Mark Cunningham designed space - and it is fantastic!  Placing my order for Hill House Home linens now.

Bowood...

Colefax & Fowler's Bowood print has been popping up everywhere, and I cannot get enough.  The green/grey chintz feels fresh and modern, and slightly nostalgic. 

Claiborne Swanson Frank, the photographer with the most enviable hair, has the print everywhere in her Southampton summer rental.

The home is the carriage house of interior designer Justine Cushing.  The space was profiled in House Beautiful in 2014.

August to-do...

Summer is flying by, and I still have so many things to check off my list!

The weather has been so erratic in NYC recently, abnormally rainy, humid, and all around unpleasant.  I have many summer white dresses that I have been saving for 'the perfect day', well the day is now!  

I've been to the beach a few times, but have yet to Stand Up Paddleboard.   This is a summer must!  As someone who is afraid of the water, and not overly confident of her swimming skills, I love to SUP! Go Figure.

Bike rides, summer reading lists, rosé and pizza on the beach, sparklers, and lots of lobster... August is going to be busy!
