I have a type.
This is my favorite shape shoe... block heel, ankle strap.  There are at least three versions of the same thing in my wishlist on Matches!

Cashmere Cabin...

Is my idea of mecca!

Everlane, known for inexpensive, high quality products, opened a Cashmere pop-up shop in the West Village.  Open for six weeks only, the shop features cashmere (of course!), but also merino wool sweaters, outerwear, handbags, and some "festive surprises".

Book report...

I was so inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow's perfectly, imperfect bookshelves in her 

November GOOP clothing images, that I rearranged my own bookcase.

The departure from colorcoded bookshelves is a nice change, and 

now I have space for a few new books I have had my eye on...  Mark, John, and Ina!

Coffee run chic...

This mornings coffee run resulted in more than just a latte,
I bumped in to a woman wearing the chicest navy cocoon coat and a Balenciaga blackout city bag.  The tote, once synonymous with Hollywood 'it' girls at the start of the millennium, is back with a vengeance, signature tough hardware has been replaced by sleek perforations on matte leather.  

Coat-day Saturday...

Because it is supposed to be a cold one today!

Meet Flora Coffee, the new coffee bar at the MET Breuer.
