A Modern Toile...

Under the creative direction of Guillaume Henry, Parisian couture house Carven has become younger and cheekier, appealing to the style savvy prep schoolers as opposed to the dated head mistresses.  For Spring 2013, the Carven runway was filled with A-line skirts, belted blazers, and a toile safari print featuring not just animals, but binocular viewing tourists as well!

Zoe Saldana

Zoe Saldana wore the clever printed dress to The Hollywood Reporters' "Most Powerful Stylists Luncheon" in Los Angeles recently.  The print and shape of this dress can turn into a Palm Beach disaster quite easily - but Saldana kept her edge pairing with black tasseled Jimmy Choo sandals and minimal jewelry.
