Afternoon observations...

In the June/July 2013 issue of Harper's Bazaar, cover girl Christy Turlington, described go-to items in her closet, one being Rag & Bone's Newbury boots, which she coined "the Tribeca Mom boots", a phrase that ran true.  On any given day, while perusing the cobble stone streets of Tribeca, there were Newbury boots in every fabric and color available.

While in Tribeca today, I noticed a change.  In a matter of less than an hour, I noticed three women wearing No.6's shearing boots.  There is a new "Mom boot" in town.
The warm shearling and suede boot juxtapose with the wooden heel just enough to question, is that comfortable?

Shearling boot on mid heel, $370

There is a No.6 store in Soho, stocked with the popular boots.

Also available at Steven Alan stores, and online.
