Tory interiors...

Tory Burch has really made her mark on the fashion industry.

She is more than just a ready-to-wear brand, she is a lifestyle brand.  Her homes have been featured in Architectural Digest, British Vogue, and frequently on her brand blog, Tory Daily.  Her interiors are to die for.  Bold, unique, and every detail thought of.  I know we are supposed to be looking at the clothing in her photos, but I am always peering at the interiors.

Ina Inspiration...

Last night I spent 40 minutes watching Ina Garten (the Barefoot Contessa) cooking videos - lemon skillet chicken, chocolate loaf cake, brown rice and squash - are all in my future.

You can't help but squint into the background of each video to catch a glimpse of her kitchen - stacked white bowls, cutting boards galore, and so much space!

Long weekend plans include channelling my inner Ina!

So cold...

Polar vortex, negative degrees, frostbite, are all buzz words in the Northeast at the moment.   It is too cold to be outside. Best bet is to stay under the covers and binge watch movies.  This bedroom by designer Alessandra Branca looks like the ideal to spend cold winter days.
