Lately...

 

Sweater weather is upon us, and thankfully on sale. 

My bed is my favorite place to be, a good mattress is a good thing.  

I love a road trip, a visit to Hudson is on the list!

Pizza is always a good idea.  

Fall wishlist...

 

1. Frame boucle jacket.  I spied this beauty in the window when it was 1000 degrees out.  I still think about it.  

2. Nili Lotan barrel jeans.  I'm in desperate need for new jeans and would wear these everyday!

3. The internet is raving about Cos cashmere.  A few sweaters need replacing and this and this are on my list.

4. Sneaks.  I wear sneakers more days than not.  I need something that feels pulled together, and comfortable.

5. New Ray-Bans.  Slightly larger than my usuals, am dying to try them.

Simple is always chic...

 

Fashion weeks have become a circus on the streets.  Overt look-at-me, attention grabbing attendees more concerned with themselves than what is coming down the runway have taken over.  Images from London and Milan Fashion weeks brought a breath of fresh air, simple and chic.  Maybe there is hope for this industry.

Hourglass x Barneys...

 

I have so many memories of Barneys... both uptown and downtown.  This pop-up with Hourglass cosmetics is a must visit.  Open thru October 11th.

The great refresh...

 

Confession: I enjoy cleaning out a closet.  I like unearthing things I've forgotten about, organizing, and giving everything a proper home.   September is that time for me, to reasess what I have, what needs to leave, and any holes to fill in.  

Habitually Chic has some great pointers on the topic.   And, a good read on how a closet cleanout is a mood booster!
