My eye on...

 Celerie Kemble.

The Mayflower Inn & Spa, on my must-visit list.

Years ago, I stood in a room designed by Celerie at the Southampton Designer Showhouse, and knew I liked her.  The bedroom, walls covered in Schumacher grass cloth, was the ultimate mix of dressed-up yet comfortable.

Fast forward, I have kept an eye on Celerie, listening to her podcast over the summer, and deep diving through her gorgeous interiors.

My favorite piece from Celerie, her lighting collection with Arteriors.    Fact, I dislike most lighting.  I like the Ralph Lauren 'Anette' collection and Celerie Kemble's rattan collection.

Tennis togs...

Tennis has been one of my saving graces over the past few months.  I took lessons as a kid, and played sporadically throughout the years, but this year has been another story.  I have played weekly for the past nine months and don't see an end in sight!  I'm looking forward to warmer months, playing outside in the mornings, and afternoons by the pool.

On top of tennis just being fun, I really like getting dressed to play.  Tory Sport makes the most darling tennis togs.  Now that my game is improving, my looks might need some sprucing too.

Tory tee, for on the court and off.

Lately...

Springlike temperatures in the Northeast have brought a smile to my face.  Bring on the bike rides, long walks, fresh flowers.

Some things that caught my eye lately...

Design Time by Domino Magazine's podcast.   I love an interior design podcast - I find I am constantly googling images while listening and incredibly inspired.  I recently listened to Jessie Loeffler-Randall's talk with Domino, and loved.  Jessie has an absolutely charming instagram and aesthetic.  Her love of soft pastels and gingham, and Horror Vacui, make her one of my favorite follows.  Next up, a trip to her new Prince Street shop

My favorite purchase of 2020 and 2021 was the Nap Dress.

Kusama, again...

Last year, about this time, I bought tickets for the highly anticipated Yayoi Kusama exhibit at The New York Botanical Garden.  Her bold, colorful pieces and fantastical designs will pop against the gardens lush greens.  I cannot wait to secure my tickets, again.

Spring stripes...

I try not to shop at fast fashion sites, I believe in investing in smart purchases that will last for years to come.  But sometimes Zara really pulls me in.  This shirt dress is the bees-knees for me.  Blue and white stripe - my favorite, classic shape, and oversized fit, I can see reaching for this everyday in Spring and Summer.

On my list of to-do's...

Confession: I love a moodboard.  Things to remember, things that caught your eye, things to make note of, all together in one place - I love it!

Bradley Means, of Luella & June, has a particularly good moodboard in her Texas closet, that I repeatedly screenshot.  After trying to see if some pre-made boards would fit in my space, I've decided to give DIY a shot.  This tutorial sounds relatively simple (I would skip the painting step and just cover in fabric), I think I can do this!  Now to measure, measure, and measure again!    Wish me luck!

Hippity hop..

Hello Easter Bunny,

A few thoughts for my basket this year.  Let's swap the Peeps and chocolate bunnies for things a bit less sugary, but just as sweet.

We are never too old to drink iced coffee out of a swirl straw.

This Liberty print case screams Spring.

Only sweet dreams allowed with Hill House Home botanical print.

If you are strapped for basket ideas, this from The Monogram Shop speaks my language!

Sunday boost...

Confession: I love a coat.  Trench coat, car coat, toggle coat, j'adore.  I own them all, some a few times over.

The one style I struggle with is the puffer. Always admired from afar, but never pulled the trigger on my own.  Enter Sacai x Nike puffer coats.  The mixed materials make it  a little quirky, which appeals.  Even more appealing, it's very on sale here.

Shoeday Saturday...

Sneakers have become my de rigeur of late.  I thought it was a phase, but it seems to be staying.  I love a sneaker with a trouser, a la Phoebe Philo, and of course with my workout wardrobe.  Checkerboard Vans are my go-tos, wearing them five out of seven days a week, and feel very hip wearing my Nike x Sacai's.  Lately, I've wanted something in-between.  Insert the Khaite x Adidas sneaker.  Sleek, modern, delicate, all of the reasons I love Khaite, plus durability and functionality of Adidas.  Available in black, navy and tan.  What color to choose?

Let there be light...

Sometime last year Moda Operandi launched their private label home collection.  As expected, it is charming and gorgeous.  My favorite piece of the collection, the scalloped glass candlesticks.  Available in various accented rims, I'm partial to the blue and the green.  They have just been restocked, and I can't wait to get my hands on a set.

ABC's...

Is it weird to think about a birthday present, a year and a half in advance?  I have a big one coming up, and this is at the tippy top of my list.  A Brent Neale bubble letter pendant.  The 'E' in her hand is exactly what I would order.

My love for Brent Neale runs deep.  Since discovering her instagram last summer, I've become taken by her whimsical designs, gorgeous aesthetic, and belief that more is more! The bubble letters are the latest additions to her line, and it was love at first sight.  A statement worn on its own, or paired with friends for a true baubble party.

Spring, on the inside...

As if it is not hard enough getting out of bed these days. Today at 12pm, Hill House Home launches their latest bedding line, and introduces tabletop.  The direct-to-consumer brand, responsible for the Nap Dress, goes back to their roots, with a new bedding style.  The brand was started with the mantra of providing high quality bedding at an affordable price.   Their latest iteration is bedding to match one of their Nap Dress prints.  Would this be called monochromatic sleeping?!

Additionally, today marks their first foray into tabletop - napkins, place matts, tablecloths, oh my!  Temperatures can continue to fluctuate, it will be Spring in my apartment, thanks to Hill House Home.

Ps, the vase on the side table is from Paul Arnhold Glass.

Thank you, next...

The cold temperatures were great for cashmere, hot chocolate and warm fires; the snow was pretty, at first, and a nice distraction.  Thank you Winter, but we are ready for the next.  Bring on bare ankles, vests, and more time outside.

I'm counting down the days to playing tennis outside again.  This darling gingham tote will go from courtside to poolside perfectly!

March Moodboard...

Spring ahead.  Wear the jewels, find the sparkle, buy the dress.
