Art at home...

Hanging something on the wall is a commitment.  You will look at this everyday.  Do you love it? Is the the size correct for the room?  The Belperron showroom, designed by Daniel Romualdez, does art groupings well.  Jewelry sketches framed in the same size to create a cohesive grid.  Visually interesting, yet organized.

For years, my walls were bare, except for a mirror in the entry, and above the fireplace.  Now, I am running out of wall space.  I love the idea of hanging a collection - last year I hung my John Derian plate collection above my kitchen table, and love it.

My latest project is putting together a collection of small watercolors for my bedroom.  A soft grouping feels right in the space.   I have one, that I want to frame in burl wood, and have my eye on a piece from Lia Burke Libaire, the hard part is choosing which one.
