I remember my first Jackie bag. I admired the classic GG with green and red stripe ribbon for ages, visiting the bag often, longing from afar. One day, I had saved enough, and was going to buy the bag. I paid in cash at Bergdorf Goodman. The lovely saleswoman wrapped my purchase in a large gift box, and I walked out elated. Now, nearly twenty-years later, the bag remains a classic, and something I'll hold on to forever.
